Event Planning and Management - bring the dream to life

It’s one thing to dream up an event, but the process of bringing the “dream to life” requires a unique set of skills and years of experience. This is what sets Blue22 apart from the others.

Once the scope of the event is confirmed and finalised, a robust management process kicks into action to ensure…

  1. The client’s brief is exactly met

  2. The event remains on time and on budget

Because one of the founders of Blue22 founded and ran the largest Bowel Cancer Charity in New Zealand, Georgina Randall has experience in tightly managing project budgets.

Below is a high-level summary of what the process looks like and what is required to bring the dream to life.

Transparency

Blue22 and the client agree on the frequency of updates that are to be in place as the event is being managed. Providing this layer of transparency is intentional so the client never worries about how things are going.

Typically, updates occur weekly but this varies based on the complexity of timeline of the event.

Pre-defined Benchmarks

Larger events where there are many moving parts will comprise “Planning Stages” or “Benchmarks”. These are key phases of the project being achieved by specific dates. These will be defined ahead time but are important because these benchmarks typically have progress payments linked to them.

Blue22 will define all benchmarks and progress payments ahead of time.

Running the “Show” on the day

The most qualified people to manage the event on your special day are those who have been planning it with you from the beginning. Blue22 will be on-site for the duration of the event to ensure the integrity of the day exactly matches the brief.

Days after the event a constructive “Debrief” session is organised where you have the chance to provide feedback as to how the day went. We want your opinions, we want to continually improve and we want your future business.
